Product Description
PVC belting is the most common general purpose conveyor belt found in agriculture and industry. These belts have a range of top coat patterns for various applications. General purpose belts with a flat top commonly carry cartons, produce or waste and are used as elevator belts when cleats are attached.
PVC belts can have a polyester cotton, monofilament or solid woven carcass. Monofilament belting has more lateral stability than poly cotton belting and is often used to reduce friction on the bed under the belt.
Belts are graded by the number of plies in the belt. PVC belts are generally 2, 3 or 4 ply depending on the application.
These belts can be joined by clips, supplied endless or joined endless on site. Different splicing methods are used for each belt type.
